Wenger has ran out patience with his current first choice goalie after a number of high-profile errors as well as some of the Pole’s off field antics and is looking at bringing in either Lloris or Chelsea star Petr Cech.

Recent reports have suggested that Spurs would consider bids of around £25m for Lloris but a move across north London would be next to impossible.

Lloris has been one of Tottenham’s most consistent performers in recent seasons but the club’s inability to secure a return to Champions League action could leave the former Lyon man open to a new challenge though a contentious move to Arsenal wouldn’t go down well with his side’s fans.

Arsenal brought in David Ospina over the summer but is seemingly not seen as first-choice material.

A move Petr Cech could prove far more easy to secure than Lloris and the Chelsea keeper could be a player Jose Mourinho would allow to join a direct rival, in much the same way the Blues boss sanctioned the sale of Juan Mata to Man United.
