Guillem Balague Discusses Gareth Bale To Manchester United Rumours

There has been much speculation that Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale, could be set to leave the Bernabéu with Manchester United vying for the Welsh wizard’s signature.

According to Spanish football journalist Guille Balague the world’s most expensive player, Gareth Bale, is happy at Real Madrid and the club will not be selling the winger to Manchester United.

Bale completed a dream move to Real Madrid for a world record £85.3m deal that saw him team up with current Ballon d’Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo. The 25 year old scored in both the Copa del Rey final and the UEFA Champions League final in his first season for the club – winning both trophies with the Spanish giants.

Yet this season rumours have begun to spiral that Bale could make a return to the Premier League with Manchester United reportedly keen.

Van Gaal was recently coy on the subject of Bale – refusing to discuss the rumours – and it seems the possibility of a move is likely to remain just rumours according to Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Balague who insists the star will not be leaving the club.

Bale himself has said: “Manchester United? I’m happy in Madrid. I love the city, the weather and the club. I’m eager to win more silverware here.”

“I have a contract with Real Madrid until 2019 and could remain for more years after the end of it.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were apparently ‘furious‘ with the winger for going alone when he could have passed in their recent defeat to Valencia, fuelling even more speculation that the Wales international could on his way out of the Bernabéu, but if above comments are anything to go by, the world’s most expensive player isn’t going anywhere.
