Barcelona Icon Lionel Messi Brands Talk Of Move To Chelsea As ‘Lies’
The Argentinian was speaking as part of a press conference before the winner of the Ballon d’Or was announced on Monday. He seemed very vague on whether he would be playing for the Blaugranas even for the next twelve months. This will come as a shock as he had earlier said that any rumours linking him with leaving the Nou Camp were ‘lies’.
The four time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked to a move to Premier League leaders Chelsea in the last few weeks. However, financial fair play constraints mean that any transfer is very unlikely to happen as the money needed to sign the World Cup Golden Ball winner would be astronomical.
