The world was left stunned last night, when David Luiz was included in the FIFA World XI for 2014. The decision sparked outrage on social media, and left us thinking… who else was lucky just to be nominated?

GK) Iker Casillas (Real Madrid)

Spent much of last season fighting for his place in the team with Diego Lopez, a battle that has continued this term with Keylor Navas. His form, until recently, has been indifferent, and he was at fault during Spain’s World Cup elimination.
