Young England attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling was back in training with Liverpool on Thursday.
The 20-year-old has missed his club’s last two matches, having been given permission to take a short holiday following the 2-2 draw with Leicester City on New Year’s Day.
A lot of people were unimpressed that Sterling was allowed time off midseason.

Nevertheless, Sterling looks fresh and raring to go. He posted the below photo to Instagram.
Teammate Daniel Sturridge also trained on Thursday, having returned to England following a trip to the USA, where he worked with fitness experts to help recover from the injury which has kept him out of action since September.
Sterling is expected to play against Aston Villa on Saturday, but Sturridge may have to wait another week before making his comeback.
