The 24-year-old has been massively disappointing for the Reds since his £16m summer move from AC Milan, failing to score a single goal in the Premier League so far.

With Liverpool losing Luis Suarez to Barcelona in the summer and Daniel Sturridge missing most of the season through injury, there has been a lot of pressure on Balotelli to perform upfront, but it hasn’t gone for him so far at Anfield.

It is now suggested that the Italian international has four months to save his career with the club, and that he could be sent back to Serie A if he does not manage to establish himself in England.

Juventus are supposedly interested in taking the player on loan, despite recently distancing themselves from a move for the former Manchester City man.
