The Red Devils have been looking to offload the midfielder as it is clear that he plays no part in manager Louis van Gaal’s long or short term plans. However, they have been unable to drum up any sort of interest in the Brazilian.

The midfielder was signed for £26 million from Porto in 2007, but has struggled to make any kind of impact since then. The 26-year-old’s inability to get fit has also made him a joke figure amongst fans of all teams.

During the current campaign Anderson has only featured twice, in the Old Trafford outfit’s embarrassing 4-0 loss to MK Dons in the League Cup second round and off the bench during their 0-0 draw with Burnley in the Premier League. After not impressing in either it would seem that he may have played his last game for Man United.
