San Jose have been making a shameless attempt to attract new fans.
For those of you that are not au fait with US geography, San Jose is in California in the south west of the country. Miami is in Florida, in the south east. They are 2,259 miles apart.

The distances haven’t stopped San Jose trying to attract Florida-based fans, however. A recent roadside display in Miami advertising the virtues of San Jose’s new stadium has been roundly mocked, with fans assuming its a desperate attempt by San Jose to get supporters to follow the largely unsuccessful club ahead of the launch of Beckham’s Miami franchise in the coming years.
To put this in perspective, it’s like Zenit St Petersburg erecting a sign in London… It’s ridiculous.
