The 23 year old left Chelsea in January 2014 and has proven a massive hit in Germany but could be tempted by a return to the Premier League.

De Bruyne has collected ten assists in the Bundesliga this term, more than any other player, and the Belgian’s agent Patrick De Koster has confirmed there is interest in his client, stating;

‘I know some clubs are interested in him,’ De Koster revealed.

‘This is normal. It’s recognition for his and our hard work.’

Chelsea banked £18m from the sale of De Bruyne and is arguably a player who never got a chance to impress at Stamford Bridge and this source claims it would take a fee of £25m or more to land the attacker.

Whilst de Bruyne is undoubedly a talented player one has to wonder if Arsenal need another attacking midfield talent given the sheer weight of options Arsene Wenger has in that regard.

The likes of Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez have both been in amazing form this season and the likes of Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil are also available to the north London side.
