The Columbian has been heavily linked to the Blues in recent days, and there were even rumours in the Express that the player was present at the Capital One Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Tuesday.

However, the 26-year-old’s manager is not happy with any move. The World Cup star scored for the Italian side in their Coppa Italia match against Atalanta on Wednesday night, and Montella doesn’t seem keen to see his star player leave.

“As far as I know there is no possibility for him to leave Fiorentina,” the 40-year-old was quoted by the Metro.

“He isn’t really concerned by all this talk. Sometimes these situations are taken all out of proportion.”

Manager Jose Mourinho is interested in Cuadrado despite the presence of Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah in his squad already. Should the Serie A ace sign on at Stamford Bridge then the future of these two could be in doubt.
