Michael Dawson, Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone have all swapped Tottenham Hotspur for Hull City in the last two years.

Hull boss Steve Bruce now wants Spurs winger Aaron Lennon to follow in the footsteps of his former teammates, according to the Daily Mail.

Bruce is plotting a bid for the 27-year-old, but he may be reluctant to meet Tottenham’s £7m asking price.

Lennon, who joined Spurs from Leeds United for £1m in 2005, is currently the longest-serving player at White Hart Lane.

However, he is no longer a regular starter.

The 21-time England international has made just nine Premier League appearances this season, including six appearances off the subs’ bench.
