Arsenal began running an FA Cup themed competition on their Twitter account, asking followers to post photos in order to win tickets to the next round of the domestic cup.

The Gunners are yet to qualify for the next round however, with Championship opposition Brighton still standing between them and the last 16.

Seagulls fans were understandably a little annoyed, with the general feeling being that the Gunners were not taking them seriously.

The tweet was of course removed as soon as the mistake was realised, but it had already been seen by a huge number of people at that point.

Brighton have not been enjoying their best campaign so far, and are currently languishing in 19th place in England’s second tier of football. Arsenal can’t afford to write them off however, and need to make sure they don’t take their opponents lightly
