Chelsea’s predicted line-up in their FA Cup clash with Bradford City

Chelsea are expected to rest a number of key players as they compete for four trophies, with the likes of Hazard, Fabregas and Terry likely to sit this fixture out, but Jose Mourinho has the luxury of still being to field a strong side.

Here’s how we think Chelsea will line-up against League One’s Bradford City:

Goalkeeper – Petr Cech

Stepped up in the absence of Thibaut Courtois through injury, starting three games and keeping three clean-sheets. Dropped for the Capital One Cup first-leg against Liverpool, but should be recalled to the starting line-up.

Right-back – Andreas Christensen

With Azpilicueta not 100% fit and Branislav Ivanovic likely to be given a rest, Mourinho will look to bring in 18 year old Andreas Christensen to gain some valuable first-team experience, and the teenager will be keen to live up to his glowing reputation.

Centre-back – Kurt Zouma

Zouma impressed in the last round of the FA Cup, helping Chelsea to a clean-sheet and getting on the scoresheet in a 4-0 victory over a Watford. Following the impressive showing against Watford, the 20 year old was handed a first Premier League start in the 2-0 win over Newcastle.

Centre-back – Gary Cahill

Cahill partnered Zouma well in the last-round of the cup, providing important experience to the back-line, and with Terry expected to be rested, the England international will be needed to sure the defence.

Left-back – Filipe Luis

Azpilicueta’s injury has given Luis the chance to try to impress boss Mourinho, and with Azpilicueta’s return from injury imminent, the £15.8m signing from Atletico Madrid knows he still needs to perform at the highest-level.
