Man United Skipper Wayne Rooney Wants To Be On X-Factor When He Retires

The England striker has an odd career path plotted out for himself.

England and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has said that being on X-Factor is something that he would like to do when he retires from football, report the Mail, although the former Everton star has confirmed that he has no intention of ever going on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

Rooney was answering questions for a show on MUTV, but he didn’t elaborate on what capacity he would like to be on the show. Rooney is known to be very much in to his music but it’s still a stretch to see him sat alongside Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell on the judging panel.

The striker’s teammates certainly didn’t have the x-factor when they traveled to League Two side Cambridge United in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday evening, with an insipid display from Louis van Gaal’s side allowing the minnows to claim a famous 0-0 draw and take the tie back to Old Trafford for a money spinning replay.
