Villarreal confirmed the Brazilian defender’s move to North London last night.
Arsenal may not have announced it yet but Villarreal last night confirmed that central defender Gabriel Paulista will join the Premier League side permanently with Joel Campbell heading in the opposite direction on a short term loan.

It’s unclear as yet just how much the North Londoners are paying for the 24 year old but Gunners fans will surely be breathing a sigh of relief that they finally seem to have secured much needed defensive reinforcements.
He certainly looks like a fantastic player, and appears to have all the required attributes to succeed in the Premier League.
