There were concerns Gabriel wouldn’t qualify for a visa given he is yet to have made a full international appearance for Brazil.
However, Balague claims the Premier League side have managed to secure a permit and the deal for the centre back is almost finalised.

The Sky Sports journalist also revealed the final fee Arsenal will pay for Gabriel will be £14.1 million and that despite interest from David Moyes’ Real Sociedad, Joel Campbell will join Villarreal as part of the agreement.
