Chelsea are reportedly on alert as Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling turns down the club’s latest contract offer, according to the Daily Express.

The Blues have been linked with the talented young England international in the past, while Real Madrid are also mentioned as possible suitors for the 20-year-old.
Sterling rose to prominence last season with a superb run of form in the Liverpool first-team, nearly helping fire the Reds to their first Premier League title in 24 years.
However, the title eluded Liverpool and they lost their best player in Luis Suarez over the summer, with the very real threat that Sterling could now be another big name on his way out of Anfield.
Sterling is currently on wages of just £30,000 per week and wants a huge pay rise, possibly as high as £100,000 per week, and Brendan Rodgers is supposedly confident he will extend his stay on Merseyside and sign.
Still, rivals Chelsea are now believed to be monitoring the situation.
