Since leaving his position as manager at Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson’s earnings certainly haven’t taken a tumble, with figures to more than rival the highest of earners at Old Trafford, reports the Daily Mail.

After stepping down as manager of the Red Devils, Fergie took up the role of ‘global ambassador’ for the club, in which he has earned a sensational £2,165,000 from in eight months – between October 2013 and June 2014 – with the role described as a £100,000 per day position, according to the Mail Online.

It has certainly been an expensive time for Man United with David Moyes and his staff also receiving a pay-off of £4,892,000 after the now Real Sociedad boss’ sacking.
