The 18 year old has impressed at Real Betis this term and is eliciting a fair amount of interest with Atletico Madrid also tracking the Spanish Under 19 international.
The right winger has a £5m release clause that is clearly well within the Blues transfer budget and given all the talk of possible exits for Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah it’s perhaps not surprising that Mourinho would be linked with a wide-attacking signing.
Ceballos is apparently tempted by the prospect of a move to Stamford Bridge and as such Betis’s attempts to tie the player to a new deal, one with a far heftier buyout clause, may prove tough to complete.
