Cristian Pavon, the Boca Juniors striker, broke his foot and will require surgery.
During the Super Clasico last weekend Pavon got injured by a tackle from Leonel Vangioni, the injury will leave him out for about two months.

The young and promising Argentinean striker played for Costa de Santa Fe on loan before moving to Boca Juniors. He has not yet made a senior appearance for the club, but he turned in good performances in recent friendly games against Racing Club and River Plate.
