Jose Mourinho is apparently keen to freshen up his attack and isn’t convinced by the displays put in by recent signing Loic Remy whilst clearly looking to find buyers for Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah.

This has seemingly led to a surprise move to ‘sound out’ West Ham over his side’s interest in Ecuadorian international Valencia and Senegalese striker Sakho.

Both players have impressed since moving to Upton Park and the East London side would apparently demand a minimum of £20m for the duo.

Indeed such is Sam Allardyce’s concern over such a move he is already ready to mount an £8m bid for Swansea City’s Bafetimbi Gomis as a possible replacement.

Sakho set back West Ham just £3.5m and has gone on to net eight goals in 11 Premier League starts whilst Valencia cost £12m and has certainly delivered the goods.
