Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini feels his side deserved more than a solitary point from their trip to Stamford Bridge.

“We are not happy with a point. I am happy with the way my team played today.

We had three good chances in the first half, they scored with their only chance in the 90 minutes – they did not even have a shot in the second half.

You may say it is a good point at Stamford Bridge but for me it is not because we were better than Chelsea.”

Man City certainly had the majority of the clear-cut chances during the big top of the table clash though Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois wasn’t called into action all that often.

The draw leaves Jose Mourinho’s side in the driving seat though a five point lead with 15 games remaining is clearly not an insurmountable deficit to overhaul.
