The 27 year old has fallen down the White Hart Lane pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino and though the north London side are keen on selling the former England man on a permanent deal they are ready to allow the former Leeds United man to move to the KC Stadium on a short term basis.

Lennon is the longest serving player in Pochettino’s squad, having joined the club in a £1m deal back in 2005, but is now behind the likes of Nacer Chadli, Christian Eriksen and Andros Townsend in the queue for a spot in the starting eleven.

A move to Hull City would see Lennon reunite with former team-mates Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore who have all been signed by Tigers boss Steve Bruce.

Lennon has started just three Premier League fixtures this season.
