The winger is already on £175,000 a week at Stamford Bridge, but reportedly he wants an increase to become the highest paid player at the club. Summer signings Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas have the biggest contracts at the moment, both earning around £200,000 a week.

The 24-year-old has been a key player for the Blues since signing from Lille in 2012. This campaign he has scored ten goals and grabbed seven assists in 29 appearances. Both Real Madrid and PSG are thought to be keen on signing the midfielder if he becomes available.

Despite the disagreement over a new deal, Hazard still wants to stay at Chelsea, and manager Jose Mourinho will be trying to make sure that he doesn’t lose one of his best players. So any exit is still very unlikely.
