Blues eager to offload German wide-man.

Chelsea have reportedly lowered their asking price for out-of-favour winger Andre Schurrle to around £20m as they sweat over a deal to sign Juan Cuadrado, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The German international is a top target for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, and had been valued at closer to £30m earlier in this transfer window, though the Blues badly want to sell him so they can afford to bring in Cuadrado from Fiorentina.

There have been suggestions that a move for the Colombian international has hit a snag late on, and the difficulty in offloading Schurrle may be contributing to that.

Mohamed Salah is another player the Blues are keen to offload, and he could move to Fiorentina on loan as part of the Cuadrado transfer.
