Luis Figo announced his decision to stand against Sepp Blatter for FIFA President last Wednesday, and his latest support comes from former Real Madrid team-mate Roberto Carlos, reports ITV.

Patrick Vieira, Roberto Carlos and Steve McManaman, all of whom Figo played with during his career, have voiced their support for the Portugal legend.
Carlos hasn’t hesitated in exclaiming that “Luis can do it”:
“We have to go back to the origins of football. We have to put the game first. Luis Figo has all the qualities and the sensibility needed to change FIFA for the better. A renovation is needed and Luís can do it!” Carlos was quoted by ITV as saying.
