Deadline day signing Aaron Lennon has reassured Everton fans that he is “buzzing” to be at the club, responding to his club photos being interpreted as the winger being unhappy.
Lennon was one of the main talking points in what was an otherwise dry final day of the transfer window, with the England man ending up at Goodison Park when a move to Stoke City seemed more likely.
Shown the exit door by Spurs, Lennon may have left White Hart Lane reluctantly having been there for almost a decade and the fact that the deal is a loan one might be a direct representation of that.

Should Lennon make his debut this weekend, then the speedster will be appearing in the small matter of the Merseyside derby. The Spurs man does have massive experience in North London derbies and will no doubt relish a chance to become an instant hero.
