The 28-year-old has been finding it difficult to make an impact at Old Trafford since arriving on loan in the summer. He has only managed to score six times and grab three assists in 20 appearances. This has led to his future at the club being questioned.
However, super-agent Mendes still believes that the former Atletico Madrid ace will be a success at the Mancunian side. Mendes thinks that although people have forgotten how good the striker is due to his injury, he will still prove himself all over again.
“Falcao is a Manchester United player. Falcao will become Falcao again. He’ll be a great player with United,” the Portuguese was quoted by the Daily Star.
“The problem is that in football you have a short memory. When a player is injured, after six or seven months without competing, people forget, but in the end the player is the same.
“Falcao is a top player who will leave his mark on United’s season. He will help them a lot and they’ll be very much better with him.”
