According to the Daily Mirror, Miller thinks Kane has shown the qualities to play deeper than he is currently doing, despite his superb return of 22 goals in all competitions so far this season.
The youngster has played as deep as defensive midfield in his days in the club’s youth team, and Miller feels it is a role he could flourish in, saying:
“I loved his ability to drop deep and link play,” Miller is quoted as saying.
“He was never just the big lump who won headers. His future might eventually be a number 10 as he’s so good at dropping into midfield. He played there a fair amount as a youth – even once as a holding player.”
