The quite unbelievable claim comes after Allardyce said he was one of the most sophisticated managers in the Premier League following the fallout from his criticism of what he perceived as ‘long ball’ tactics by Manchester United during a recent 1-1 draw with the Hammers.
Brown, who worked as Allardyce’s assistant coach at both Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers , might have been innocently trying to give his support to his former boss, but dear me, Phil. What a claim!
