Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly held talks with the Glazer family over a number of big issues surrounding the team this season, according to the Daily Star.

The Dutchman met with United’s owners after an uninspiring 3-1 win over Burnley at Old Trafford in midweek, with his side still to truly click into gear this season.
It is thought that the Glazers were unhappy watching the way the Red Devils played against the relegation strugglers, who ran them close before the home side eventually stole the three points.
Still, with so much money spent on new signings in the summer, van Gaal has to do better to convince club chiefs he is the right man to lead the team, with more funds in the transfer market not guaranteed unless Champions League football is delivered.
