Blues linked with highly-rated England youngster.
Chelsea could bolster their strike-force with the surprise signing of AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson in the summer, according to the Daily Star.
The England Under-21 international has scored 15 goals in the Championship this season for the in-form promotion chasers, and certainly looks ready to make the step up to the Premier League.
Chelsea already have some big-name options upfront at Stamford Bridge, with Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba all in fine form for the Blues this season.
Still, Jose Mourinho could be looking at Wilson as a long-term replacement for Drogba, who turns 37 this year.
