The 22-year-old is a target of Liverpool, but they are not allowed to negotiate with him until the end of his contract. He has scored nine goals for the Clarets this season, which is impressive considering their status as relegation strugglers.

Former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes is apparently a long term admirer of the striker, and is keen to get him in to his squad when his Burnley deal ends in the summer. Ings has been gaining more and more plaudits in recent times, and will be hoping for an England call up when the next squad is announced in March.
