Manchester United Target’s Form Not A Worry Insists Real Madrid Boss

Real Madrid beat Deportivo on Saturday to move four points clear at the top of La Liga.

Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated his calmness regarding the form of Cristiano Ronaldo in recent weeks.

Ronaldo hasn’t scored a goal in his last three league appearances, whilst also serving a two match ban following his ill-disciplined sending off against Cordoba.

Despite scoring 28 goals in 20 appearances overall, questions have been raised over the performances of the best player in the world.

His off-field antics, mainly having a birthday party hours after a crushing 4-0 defeat to city rivals Atletico Madrid, have fueled such talk.

Yet Ancelotti doesn’t share the general concern.

“He didn’t score but he was dangerous,” the Italian said (via Sky Sports).

“A crossbar, an assist (for Karim Benzema), he could have scored, he didn’t miss passes and the technical evaluation of his match is positive.”

Ronaldo is constantly linked with a move back to Man United, but the forward is still likely to end his career at the Bernabeu.
