West Ham fans angrily confronted owner David Sullivan following their side’s humiliating 4-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup fifth round.

The Hammers sit unusually high in the Premier League in eighth place after a stellar first half to the season. However, one victory since the end of December and now a crushing defeat in the FA Cup, a competition the Hammers could have realistically won given the number of big names who have already exited, has left some supporters questioning the club’s leadership.

And in ugly scenes, reminiscent of Arsenal fans’ vile confrontation of Arsene Wenger folllowing a 3-2 defeat at Stoke City last year, Hammers supporters confronted their chairman after the game at the Hawthorns, hurling a torrent of abuse at the 66 year old.
