“You cannot cheat unless you put the GPS on a cat – and I’ve tried that!” Chadli was quoted by The Sun.

“We put on the GPS before each session and it records everything.

“It’s a bit like Big Brother watching you.

“They check the amount we run and are looking at players if they get tired.”

Nonetheless, Spurs take on Serie A outfit Fiorentina in the Europa League last 32 tie tonight, and with this being their 42nd game of the season already, and the first of four in 11 days, the winger confesses that the intense training sessions have enabled the squad to handle the amount of fixtures they have had:

“This is the fittest squad I have ever worked with in my career,” Chadli continued.

“We work hard in the gym, run outside and train always with a high intensity.”
