Souleymane, 33, has shared his side of the story and called for the Blues supporters involved in this incident to be punished and locked up for preventing him from getting on board a Metro train.

The incident has been captured on video, with the chants of the Chelsea fans making the incident look all the more damning, though Souleymane admits he doesn’t speak English and wasn’t aware of what they were saying to him.

“I wanted to get into the car but a group of English fans blocking me and pushed me away,” he explained.I tried to force the passage, I again tried to return. In the scramble, I lost my phone.

“They told me things in English but I did not really understand the meaning of their words. I do not speak a word of English. I understood that it was Chelsea fans and I made ??the connection with the PSG match, which took place the same evening. I understand also that they were attacking me because of the color of my skin. You know, I live with racism, I was not really surprised by what happened to me.

“These English supporters need to be found, punished and locked up. It can’t go unpunished.”
