Louis van Gaal may be willing to let the player leave Old Trafford…
Manchester United forward Radamel Falcao has several clubs interested in signing him according to AS Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev, reports the BBC.
The Colombian has struggled to make an impact since arriving on loan at Old Trafford. He has scored just four goals in 19 appearances, and it is looking more and more unlikely that Louis van Gaal will make the temporary move permanent. The 63-year-old has the option of signing the the striker for £43.2 million once his deal ends.
The 29-year-old has failed to create a partnership with Robin van Persie at the Mancunian side, and with the Dutchman a favourite of van Gaal’s it could mean that Falcao will make way. However, the club that currently own him will not be worried if the Red Devils don’t choose to keep the former Porto man.
The Russian said, “I’m not worried for Falcao, he is a world-class striker. If Manchester United decide not take up the option at the end of the season, we have interest from other great clubs. So I am really not worried for him at all.”
