Mourinho was questioned over the shocking video footage that shows a Parisian being racially abused after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with PSG in the Champions League. The Blues boss along with the rest of the club have condemned the actions of their fans, but when quizzed about the Terry racism storm, claimed his side may still be under a cloud.

“I don’t know [if we are under a cloud]. The only thing I know and I know 100% for sure is that John Terry is not one single second of his life a racist, that I can assure you,” he said.

“He had a bad episode, I don’t know, I was not here, maybe yes. But I can assure you, and you ask every player who has shared the dressing room with John, we are talking about dozens and dozens of players, they would tell you that John is not a racist.”
