Huge boost as Toure eyes City stay for life.
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure looks set to sign a new contract with the club as he eyes a lifetime role at the Etihad Stadium, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Ivory Coast international’s future has come under some doubt in recent times, with speculation that he wanted to leave the club in the summer.
More recently, his old manager Roberto Mancini has also shown an interest in bringing him to Inter Milan, but it now looks as though Toure will stay with the Premier League champions.
Not only that, but the 31-year-old is also keen to take up a director of football role at the club at the end of his playing career.
