Ilkay Gundogan, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, has revealed he will likely sign a new deal with Borussia Dortmund.

The German was set to move into the last year of his contract with the Bundesliga side after refusing to discuss new terms but it finally seems he has relented and will put pen-to-paper.
“I don’t want to say anything about it, things are looking good,” said Gundogan to Bild via Daily Star.
The nearly confirmation from Gundogan is a massive coup for Dortmund who just months ago seemed resigned to losing a host of big name stars as they tumbled down the Bundesliga table.
However, their resurgence in form has coincided with Marco Reus signing a new long term contract with the club.
And Gundogan hinted this might be a key reason he agreed to commit his future.
“Marco’s signature has made us all euphoric.”
The move could be a blow to both Premier League sides linked with the German as they search for suitable midfield reinforcements in the summer.
