FIFA certainly know how to find controversy.
A FIFA taskforce announced on Tuesday the recommendation that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar should take place in November and December, which would ultimately ruin England’s successful festive football period.
Temperatures in Qatar soar to a scorching 40C, while the final two months of the calendar year drop to 25C – players would certainly be pleased by the drop in temperature, yet the suggestion has outraged fans.
