Leeds United may be about to get another new owner.
Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has dropped a large hint on his Twitter account that he may be about to make a bid to buy Championship club, Leeds United.

Crowe – who is a supporter of the Yorkshire club – responded to a plea from a desperate Leeds fan to take over at the club.

The Gladiator star currently owns NRL side South Sydney Rabbitohs, and used his experience with the club to suggest how the Whites would be run if he were in charge.

Leeds United fans have become used to the changing of ownership at the club in recent years.
In January 2014, Massimo Cellino controversially took control of the club, but in the past couple of days the Italian has revealed that he has sold his stake in both the club and its parent company, after the Football League banned Cellino from having any involvement with the club, following a criminal case brought against him in his native Italy.
