The shocking revelation comes just as reports in the British press were claiming that Real Madrid had cooled their interest in De Gea and the goalkeeper would like put an end to his protracted stalemate at Old Trafford and sign a new deal.
AS site recent interviews with van Gaal where he has attempted to dampen the praise De Gea has been receiving for his impressive form this season which has kept Man United in a number of games, saying it’s merely his job.
