Manchester United could be set to lose goalkeeper David de Gea, after the Spaniard’s supposed row with manager Louis van Gaal.

According to reports in Thursday’s press, the pair haven’t spoken in months, with Champions League holders Real Madrid waiting to pounce.

The 24-year-old’s current contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of next season, and United have so far struggled to make progress over a new deal.

De Gea has supposedly grown frustrated with receiving a lack of praise from Van Gaal, and the issue has now escalated to the point where the stopper wishes to leave.
