Arsenal winger Theo Walcott appeared to get into a confrontation with some of the Emirates Stadium fans at the final whistle of yesterday’s game against AS Monaco, the Daily Mail reports.

The England international, who came on as a substitute in the 3-1 home defeat to the Ligue 1 side, swapped shirts with Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour at the end of the match, prompting some reaction from the home crowd.
Walcott seemed to respond in a manner suggesting he wasn’t affected by their criticism, which will no doubt sour relations further after another highly disappointing result for the club in this competition.
Arsene Wenger’s side have been panned by the press this morning as they look surely set to fail once again to get to the quarter-finals having last done so in 2010.
