How City could line up if they bring in former Liverpool striker.
With strong rumours that a stunning £100m deal could be in place to bring Luis Suarez to Man City in the summer transfer window, here’s a look at how the Barcelona man would fit in in the club’s starting lineup next season…
Goalkeeper and defence:
Joe Hart – the England goalkeeper has been much improved this season and should continue as number one for City next term.
Pablo Zabaleta – the Argentine right-back is not a player who needs replacing by any means after continued strong form for the club.
Gael Clichy – the Frenchman should continue as usual at left-back, rotating with Aleksandar Kolarov in that role.
Vincent Kompany – still a big name at City despite a recent dip in form, the Belgian should remain as first choice in defence for now.
Eliaquim Mangala – after a slow start, the promising French youngster should progress and become first choice next season.
