Valencia are shock candidates to sign £46m-rated Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao this summer, according to The Sun.
The 29-year-old has been in poor form for United, since moving to Old Trafford on loan from AS Monaco at the start of the season.
Falcao has scored just four goals in 20 games for the Red Devils, but that has not stopped a host of top European clubs chasing the Colombia star, who has netted 21 times in 54 senior internationals.
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have Falcao on their respective transfer short-lists, but Valencia are also reportedly in the mix.
Valencia, who currently sit fourth in the La Liga table, were recently taken over by Asian businessman Peter Lim.
Lim is apparently set to bankroll a huge summer spending spree.
Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes helped Lim complete his takeover at Valencia and their close relationship could be a key in bringing the player to the Mestalla.
