According to the Metro, the Serbian gave an emotional speech telling his team-mates to have the pleasure that he could not have.
Matic has been one of Chelsea’s best players this season, but was harshly sent off in last weekend’s Premier League game against Burnley, putting him out of this big match at Wembley.
“The boy [Matic] was sad, we were sad for him,” Mourinho said.
