Chelsea Youngster Planning Stamford Bridge Return Days After Agreeing Blues Exit

Belgian international has buy-back option.

Thorgan Hazard agreed to join Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach on a permanent deal, following his current loan spell, in late February but according to the Metro the Belgian is already planning a Blues return.

The 21 year old, younger brother of Eden, hasn’t played a single senior game for Chelsea but is clearly keen to succeed at Stamford Bridge, if given the chance.

‘It is true that Chelsea has a buy-back option. I’m glad, because I hope to still play for Chelsea.

‘That remains a goal.’

‘I am focusing on excelling at Borussia Monchengladbach, but I still hope to play for Chelsea one day.’

Thorgan certainly has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Eden, having been a huge hit during his loan spell Zulte Waregem and in the Bundesliga this season, though perhaps in the long run he will find first team football easier to come by elsewhere.
